Animal Services Advisory Board

About the Advisory Board

The purpose of the Animal Services Advisory Board is to strengthen the communication between the community and WCRAS, and to allow a public platform to hear updates centered around WCRAS. The updates may consist of program and service statistics, emerging developments, financial or budgetary updates, events and accomplishments and proposed goals or objectives for the department.

The Animal Services Advisory Board may offer opinions and make recommendations to the department on the development of short or long term goals, Washoe County Code amendments, educational resources, community programs and policies and procedures.
